Hello once again. How the hell are you? What’s the last concert you went to? Remember live music is good for your soul. What’s your most recent musical purchase? Remember new music keeps you young at heart.
This week music from a Son of a preacher man, Brent Cowles. The Golden Age Of TV is a Uk band that met at Leeds University. Devon Gilfilllian Grew up outside of Philly and yes lives in Nashville now. Shocker. Almost easier these days to tell you who doesn’t live in Nashville. Tendered hearted and fun trio Trash Cat bring back memories of the 90s, no? NEXT favorite Wild Adriatic are Touring Europe right now. Just a brilliant live act. Must see live. Or really it’s MUST SEE LIVE. Plus, they are great guys. That always helps. Juliana Hatfield sounds great on her Police cover album. Off the Later years IE: no Roger Water David looks back and remixes and throws in a few (not many) bonuses.
Heathcote Hill from just outside Manhattan. And then live music. Remember when I said it’s good for your soul? Well it is. Just in time for the holidays and stocking stuffers. A few live tracks. The Band, The Stones, The Cure all live this week. And we end with the brilliant AWOL Nation.
Thanks for listening and thanks again to Ocean 98 for putting next on the radio.
New music discovery is important and thank you for doing your part.
Please support these bands…or we wouldn’t have bands like this around to support. Buy an album, or a ticket to a show, or a tee shirt, or…something from them. Thank you.
If there are any bands/managers/labels etc that want their music removed (for any reason) please contact me (chris at allthingsnext dot com) and I’ll promptly remove it. Thank you, bands, for making music. Thank you for making my life better because of the music you make. I am a passionate music consumer as are my listeners.
