It’s a NEXT yearly reminder that in 1987 U2 released studio album number 5. On this day.

It’s called Joshua Tree.

If you liked Rock and/or Roll in 1987 you could not escape this album.

Some day I may write up something about this album but for now…just listen.

I believe this was the tour that Kate and her friends slept out in line for tickets. Remember those days?

This is when U2 went from RnR heroes to Super Stars.

The first two singles, “With Or Without You” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” climb to #1.

The album becomes their first #1 in America and takes the Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
