  • Great list, my only disappointment is some songs like , Misery Company, Happy idiot, good things, did not make the top 20.
One of my favorite did not show up yet, definitely a top 20 one.
The Strypes What a shame is a rediscovered one.

    • I’ll take any double posting as long as it’s a good and positive as “you made me listen to an album and I bloody love it now”

      Those are my favorite comments.

      Merry New Year.

  • I say this every year and mean it.

Honestly any of my top tunes could be a top 20 song. Sometimes it’s flow sometimes it’s just when I sit down to listen I’m in a certain mood and tracks get shifted. Sometimes radically. I’ve had songs that have been in the top 20 all year at that last moment fall to the 4th show (or around 60 or 70) for no real reason.

These shows really are really just me one day/night sitting down and listening to every song that made a “best of the month” then placing them in order. Then I wake the next morning and shift a few songs around. Then I have an hour and sometimes a song makes an hour too long for radio and I need to find a different week for it.

Plus if a song gets too big I usually drop it (silly rule of mine). I figure it doesn’t need my help. Occasionally I break that rule. Again depends on that one day and how I’m feeling.

I hope the top 20 makes your ears smile and I hope that explanation made sense.

Thanks for listening all year and the comments truly do help me pick songs every month.
