Hello October. I hope you listened to our best songs of September. I hate to sound like a skipping record but damn it’s another fine month of great new music. I hope you agree. If you find a new favorite song please let us know. Vote for it on our website or post a comment on Facebook or Twitter.

  • There were two standouts for me this week but Deer Tick was my favorite. I like what I hear from “Negativity.”

    The other standout, in a very close second for me was, however, was Warm Soda. (Go figure, me, liking a power pop offering – that never happens.)

    I also liked the Birdy song quite a bit – even if a song call “Wings” from Birdy seem a little too cute.

    “Thirsty Man” will also probably make it’s way onto one of my playlists even though I found the new Blitzen Trappen album to be a disappointment. And speaking of disappointments, what the heck is wrong with Dr. Dog?!

    My two cents.
