First, go see this band. They have a throughly modern take on grunge-y, indie rock (yes they combine both). It sounds so good. The lead singer has a unique voice (and yes that’s a good thing) but my favorite was the joy that exudes from them as they play. They are having the best time up on stage (that was tough because the crowd was going nuts). Another favorite part was the gentle (almost secret) smile that would creep on the lead guitarist face. A smile that preceded a new solo. It’s like he knew what was coming (yes I know he does) and that the crowd was going to love it. And love we did.
This interview happened at Lambert’s. We had a pre-gig drink and chatted. Good guys. Now go see them live.
