Excuse me Chris don’t you usually post a new NEXT on Wednesday’s? Why yes I do astute NEXT listener but I’m off to SXSW and know I wouldn’t get a chance to post on Wednesday. Enjoy.

If you do find a song to your liking please leave a comment. We love knowing what you love. Plus it helps at the end of the month for the “best of” show. Enjoy.

If any bands/managers/labels etc want their music removed please contact me (chris at allthingsnext dot com) and I’ll promptly remove it. Thank you, bands. Thank you for making music. Thank you for making my life better because of the music you make. I am a passionate music consumer as are my listeners. If you think NEXT streaming music is bad you have it wrong. I am a music maker advocate.

  • Was this a best of week??
I’ve been listening to ALT-J – Tessellate for some time now, but do like that song, even if I won’t count it a new favorite. And it merely set up a really good week!! I started writing which songs I liked and found I was writing about each one!

    so here’s a top 3:

    Giving Tree
    Ivan and Alyosha
    Josh Ritter (my new favorite)

Oh hell, and Portugal the Man, Sun Volt and ATE too!

  • Thanks man. Some weeks just do that…line up as a best of show. It does make the end of the month quite tough when week’s like this one pop up.
