Have I missd something, I no longer see your link to iTunes. I guess I to busy listening to notice such things.
Sorry George but when iTunes updated they took away the option to make the playlists available. I don’t know why.
I’m trying to find a work-a-round.
Yes bring I-Tunes back… meanwhile I cannot get away from Churchill as my fave new tune and Airborne Toxic after that. I am sure both will be on your end of the year collection
If I can block Change by Churchill from my mind then the joy formidable songb will be my favorite of the month.
Glad to hear Eels again.
Heart should be the winner of live coverage song of the year.
Hendrix Wah Wah is more ouch ouch, can’t make him a NEXT song, after all.
On the one hand, I can’t fault the selection of music this month – this week was a great listen – I’m especially happy with The Joy Formidable selection (the whole album is great, too). But on the other hand, It was bad enough not to see Johnny Marr or Richard Thompson in the best of January, but the glaring omission of Yo La Tengo is egregious! Is NEXT guilty af age discrimination?? NEXT music is a young man’s ( or woman’s) game?? I mean, no David Bowie either?? C’mon!
Otherwise, great stuff. Rock on!
Great start to 2013.
It doesn’t matter an old act or young
It is all about a good song
Played on NEXT in december, Eric Burdon out of my mind is a good one.
Play on more.
Way behind on this but Free Energy reminds me of Dawes. Really loved Best Day of My Life. Not feeling Eels. Listening to the rest now…
1. The Lone Bellow – Bleeding Out
2. Kingsley Flood – I Don’t Wanna Go Home
