Two years ago you picked colors as your top song, you introduced to us and the rest of the radio station Grouplove.
This year Tame Impala made it to the top with another great Pop Rock song, a Sixty’s seventy’s sound. Something about Australian bands is happening.
Deep Sea Arcade, an Australian band that I discovered through Next, have that sound.

Great list! I personally am not a fan of that The Heavy song, and while i know why Imagine Dragons It’s Time is on here, I really much prefer Radioactive! (maybe just because it’s newer and It’s Time got a bit overplayed for my tastes) Still incredible list, great year for music. Thanks for sharing with us!

Some of those just might be better. I always forget a few songs. The joy of having 278 “best of” songs played through out the year in our monthly Best of Shows. (and me being alone)
First Aid Kit and Morning Parade for sure. 2:54 were close to top 64 for me. Romany Rye another great one.
I already had one Young Hines and Charlie Simpson but those are great tunes too. I would have have had “I Only Walk Backwards” by Tame Impala too if I didn’t have the 1 song rule. Oh and Mystery Jets. yes I always miss something.
