I was saddened to hear yesterday that legendary guitarist Leslie West was forced to have his leg amputated at the knee over the weekend. Â Leslie West was the lead guitarist of the band Mountain. Â This is one of my all time favorite bands and one of the most under rated bands of all time. Â They played Woodstock but because of a bad business decision by their manager they did not appear in the movie or on the album. Â Perhaps if they had Mountain would be more celebrated.
