…and then there were two. Dobbler v Rob. Lloyd v Gordon. Music Enthusiast v Music Enthusiast.
Hey, I’m not the smartest guy in the world, but I’m certainly not the dumbest. I mean, I’ve read books like “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” and “Love in the Time of Cholera”, and I think I’ve understood them. They’re about girls, right? Just kidding. But I have to say my all-time favorite book is Johnny Cash’s autobiography “Cash” by Johnny Cash.

I don’t want to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don’t want to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought, or processed. You know, as a career, I don’t want to do that.
Now, the making of a good compilation tape is a very subtle art. Many do’s and don’ts. First of all you’re using someone else’s poetry to express how you feel. This is a delicate thing.

The Third place match
I had to vote for Lloyd!!!
While I love Say Anything…High Fidelity gets my vote. It’s all about the Top Ten List!
Hands down, Say Anything is the BEST John Cusack movie EVER. Nostalgia for an easier time in my life? Maybe? The movie when I first fell in love with Mr. Cusack? Definitely!!!
The great thing about this final. No one is wrong. Lloyd is the best in fact, I use a quote from Say Anything on my resume. As a music guy it’s hard not to pick High Fidelity. The top 10 lists are brilliant but I think for the movie they pared it down to top 5 lists.
Thanks for voting. Now go listen to this week’s NEXT it’s a good one.
