You know the drill. 5,000 songs on my iPod spanning many genres.  I put it on random shuffle and this is the result.

10. Sheryl Crow – Everyday Is A Winding Road – I always thought Sheryl was kind of over rated.  She seems nice enough though and she’s a cutie so that’s all I’ll say.

9. Dave Matthews Band – Crash Into Me – I’ve seen Dave live twice and personally I don’t get it.  This song is a great one though I will say that.

8. Damien Rice – Volcano – I forgot I even had Damien on my iPod.  This is a pretty good one.

7. Interpol – Memory Serves – These guys came out with a great album in September that kind of flew under the radar.  Go get it now.  The singer almost sounds like Ozzy on this one.  Just a little.

6. The Police – Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic – Just in time for Valentine’s Day.  It’s a little much though isn’t it?  I mean seriously The Police are cooler than this.

5. Eric Clapton – Layla (Unplugged) – Although my personal favorite is Nirvana Unplugged.  This one was definitely up there with the best.  Cool version of this one.

4. Seven Mary Three – Water’s Edge – Seven Mary Three had one hit and this wasn’t it.  For good reason too because this song kind of sucks.  They were a cool band though and I thin they still play shows.  Apparently this one’s about a guy who witnessed a murder of some kind if you care.  I don’t.

3. Silversun Pickups – Lazy Eye – One of my favorite songs.  This is a fantastic band.  I had the pleasure of seeing them open for Snow Patrol a few years ago and after that they blew up.

2. Rob Zombie – Demon Speeding – I love Mr. Zombie.  Is it me or do all of his songs start out cool?  Where does he get those clips?

1. Disturbed – Darkness – This one’s a metal ballad and a pretty decent one.  David Draiman has a great voice and he shows it off here.

OK so that’s this week’s shuffle.  We closed it out with some metal but we have a few classics in there as well.
