Hey Chris, have you heard of a guy called Jay Banerjee? I first saw him when he played the Mercury Lounge in NYC a couple months back and I just caught him again last weekend. Really nice energetic songs with a Beatles/Byrds vibe. It was cool to see a kid (25, maybe??) doing that sort of thing. Anyway I talked to him after the set and it turns out he’s from Westchester so maybe you should play him. He gave me a copy of his EP and I’m sure if you got in touch with him on Myspace or something he would send you a freebie too. Just Google the name and its the 1st result. Tell him George in the Cream shirt hipped you to him!
